At No Cube Press, we've always been big fans of Southern Lit. We're incredibly pleased to say that we think we've found a real gem of the genre in our February release, Jack and The Dragon Man's Daughter.
In this queer coming of age story, Jack is a young woman in Appalachia struggling to understand both herself and the world around her. Written by Devon Koren - a writer whose work we've been following online for a long time - the characters feel real and the feelings really flow. It's a short read, less than 150 pages, but that's the perfect length for a flight or long train ride. Those who pick up Jack and The Dragon Man's Daughter are assured a satisfying read, and in these grey winter months, sometimes that's something the soul needs.
